What is changing, and where agents pay off.
Italy became the first EU country with its own national AI law when Legge 132/2025 came into force in October 2025, adding rules on health, work, justice and public administration on top of the EU AI Act, with AgID and ACN as national AI authorities. The Garante has also been one of Europe’s most active regulators on AI and personal data. Italian buyers therefore want a partner who documents what a system does, where data goes and who stays accountable.
Our results in Italy come from the back office and the factory floor: matching supplier invoices and orders, tracking production and quality exceptions, preparing export paperwork, and answering customer and distributor questions in Italian and English. Do your agents work in Italian?
Yes. We build and test agents in Italian and English, with Italian speakers on your side checking tone, formality and sector vocabulary before launch. Retrieval, prompts and evaluation sets are kept in both languages so quality is measured in the language your customers actually use.
How do you handle the Garante and Italy’s AI law?
We design to the GDPR as applied by the Garante: clear purpose for each data use, minimal collection, logged processing and human review of decisions that affect people. Where Legge 132/2025 adds sector rules, for example in health or employment, we map them during scoping so nothing is retrofitted later.
Where is our data processed?
Inside your own cloud account in Milan or another EU region by default, with model providers that offer EU data residency and do not train on your data. Secrets and access are scoped to the task, and a data processing agreement is signed before work begins.
Can you work with our existing ERP and IT supplier?
Yes. Most Italian clients run SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or a local ERP maintained by an outside partner. We connect through APIs or exports, coordinate changes with your supplier and keep the agent in a separate, auditable layer so your core systems are never put at risk.
