LLM integration, routing & optimisation
Most companies now use several large language models. We build the layer that makes that manageable: an LLM gateway with one API for every provider, routing that sends each request to the cheapest model that can do it well, orchestration for multi-step work, and observability that shows cost, latency and quality per feature.
01 / Capabilities
Gateway
A single, governed entry point for every model call, with keys in a vault, rate limits, caching and data-residency rules per team.
Routing
Requests go to the model that fits: small and fast for simple tasks, frontier models for hard reasoning, with automatic fallback when a provider is down.
Orchestration
Workflows that chain retrieval, tools and models with retries and checkpoints, built with LangGraph, the OpenAI and Anthropic SDKs or plain TypeScript and Python.
Observability and evaluation
Every call traced with tokens, cost and latency; evaluation sets score quality so optimisation never silently breaks answers.
02 / How we deliver it
phase 01
Audit
We map where models are called today, what they cost and where quality is unmeasured.
phase 02
Gateway and tracing
One entry point and full tracing go in first, so every later change is measured.
phase 03
Optimise
Routing, caching, prompt and context tuning, checked against your evaluation set.
phase 04
Hand over
Dashboards, runbooks and training so your team can add models and features safely.
03 / What changes
- One place to manage every model and key
- Lower cost per request without losing quality
- Provider outages handled by automatic fallback
- Cost and quality visible per feature
04 / FAQ
Questions about LLM integration, routing & optimisation.
What is an LLM gateway and do we need one?
It is a single entry point for every model call in your company. If more than one team or model is in use, a gateway gives you central keys, cost tracking, rate limits, caching and data rules in one place.
How does LLM routing reduce cost?
Many requests do not need the largest model. Routing sends simple tasks to smaller, cheaper models and keeps frontier models for hard ones, checked against an evaluation set so quality does not drop.
Which tools do you use for orchestration and observability?
We choose per project: LangGraph or plain code for orchestration, and OpenTelemetry-based tracing or tools such as Langfuse for observability. Everything runs in your cloud where needed.
