Jordan has one of the most established technology sectors in the Levant, with a deep pool of engineers and a government that approved its Artificial Intelligence Strategy and Implementation Roadmap for 2023 to 2027. The Personal Data Protection Law No. 24 of 2023 came into force in March 2024 and its transition period ended in March 2025, so companies now need AI that respects consent, purpose limits and data subject rights by design rather than as an afterthought.
