02 / AI in London

Where AI agents pay off in London.

London buyers rarely need convincing that AI matters. They need a partner who can get an agent past procurement, information security and compliance, and into production in a system that already has customers. Most of our London work sits in that gap: connecting a language model to a CRM, a case management system or a document store, scoping exactly what data it can see, and logging every step so a risk or audit team can follow it.

The rules have moved. The Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 replaced the old UK GDPR Article 22 with new Articles 22A to 22D, in force since 5 February 2026, which allow more solely automated decisions provided safeguards are in place, including the right to contest a decision and obtain human review. For FCA-regulated firms the Consumer Duty adds a test of whether customers get good outcomes. We design agents so a person reviews decisions with legal or similarly significant effects, explanations are recorded, and outcomes can be monitored by customer group.

we design for

  • UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, including Articles 22A to 22D on automated decision-making
  • FCA Consumer Duty for regulated financial services firms
  • ICO guidance on AI and data protection, and the UK government’s AI Opportunities Action Plan

We are engineers, not lawyers. We build to these frameworks and work with your legal and compliance teams on the final review.

05 / FAQ

Questions from London teams.

Do you have an office in London?

No. We work remotely from Pakistan, which is five hours ahead of the UK in winter and four in summer, so your morning is our afternoon. Stand-ups, demos and reviews happen in UK business hours on video, and the team is reachable on Slack or Teams through the UK working day.

How do the 2026 automated decision-making rules affect an AI agent?

Since 5 February 2026, solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects are permitted for most personal data if safeguards are in place, such as telling people, letting them make representations and offering human review. Special category data remains more restricted. We build those safeguards into the design and agree with your DPO where a person must stay in the loop.

Can you work with an FCA-regulated firm?

Yes. We design for auditability and customer outcomes: every agent action is logged, prompts and model versions are recorded, and decisions that affect a customer are reviewed by your staff. Your compliance team owns the regulatory judgement; we give them the evidence to make it.

Can our data stay in the UK?

Yes. We deploy into your own cloud account in a London region where required, choose model providers that offer UK or EU data residency and do not train on your data, and sign a data processing agreement before any personal data is used.
